How do I submit an event?
click on "submit event" listed under the calendar tab. fill in the listed fields including a detailed description of the event. upload an event image, which will be displayed in search results and on the event page. Click the save button at the bottom of the page and tada, your event will be created immediately.

what is the "day of week" on the submit event form?
these are the days the event takes place. for example, if you are a gallery which is open tuesdays through saturdays and you are having an exhibition for one month, enter in the actual dates of the exhibition in the tabs above and check all of the days of the week except sundays and mondays.

what is the "exceptions" field on the submit event form?
this is where you enter specific dates you are closed, like holidays.

what if i don't have a reception or preview?
that's cool, just leave the fields blank.

i'm having an opening at a gallery - who should create the event?
Whoever is running the show should be responsible for creating the event. Therefore, the gallery should create the event and include your name under the list of artists to link to your profile.

i'm having an opening at a gallery that does not have a profile - who should create the event?
If the gallery is representing your work they should be marketing your events. Tell them about this great website and encourage them to create a profile. Still no luck? You can create the event yourself, though this is not ideal for search results.

What happens if somebody has already created my event?
Whoever is running the show should be responsible for creating the event. You can contact the event creator yourself. Remember events can always be deleted.
