one of vancouver's leading galleries, the equinox gallery was founded by elizabeth nichol in 1972. initially located in downtown vancouver on robson street, the gallery moved to its current location in the south granville gallery district in 1987. from the beginning, equinox gallery has been committed to presenting the work of local and canadian artists in the context of an international program. along with a roster of acclaimed senior, mid-career and emerging artists, many of whom have had career retrospectives and monographic publications, we also represent artists' estates.
we work with collectors, consultants, and museum curators to build collections and are able to find specific works to suit a client's needs. for the past thirty years we have also been active in the secondary market, purchasing for inventory and on behalf of clients.
