I am a full time artist living and working in Toronto. Currently I work in acrylic, creating abstract work, but I also have many years of experience with pastels, working in a realistic style.

I have been painting and drawing since I was old enough to hold a crayon, and have been exhibiting my work since 2007.I have worked on the board of the Artists' Network of Riverdale, and have started two Toronto abstract art groups: Colourshift Collective and SolidColour.

Abstract art is abstracted from something; my aim is to capture the memory of a scene, rather than a faithful rendering. I try to capture the essence of an image, what made it stand out for me, the redness of a maple, the stillness of a lake. My work reflects myself in that moment as much as the image in front of me.
